This week starts week 5 on weight watchers . It hasn't been as horrible as I thought it would be either. I have lost a little each week except the week after Meredith's birthday / First Communion weekend . On weigh in day I gained 2 pounds. I guess not too terrible for all the food and drink I consumed 😁. This week makes a total of just 7 Pounds down. Honestly I wish it was more. But I have never been one to drop the pounds all at once. I refuse to starve myself or give up a particular food or food group. This momma is NOT going to age myself 10 yrs just to be thinner either! Hell to the no!! So note to self when you are one age but look 10 yrs older just stop!! Happy medium people! That's what it's all about!! But I would be lying if I said I wish the total wasn't more like 10-15 pounds. 7 doesn't seem like a whole lot. Better than none or gaining. So time to refocus and do a little bit better. Some weeks I tend to use the extra weekly points that you are alotted. I think I need to stop using them. Oh and today they brought in food to work:( Going to have to stay away from all the goodness. Well, maybe a PIECE of donut. lol.
Getting in a daily workout has proved to be my nemesis.... Even a 30 minute. I am just too tired at the end of the day. I even tried setting my alarm 30 min earlier before I need to get up for work . Nope. Hasn't happened . I mean for the love I already need to be up at 5:15. Any earlier brings back nightmares of my 4:30 am nursing sessions with Max. I NEED my sleep!! See my delema of a workout?! I do fit in a workout maybe 3 days a week. It's a start I guess! Plus I am on my feet and walking at work almost the entire 8 hr shift . I have no probs getting in my daily fit points.
I gathered some recipes I thought I would share with ya'll!!
My FAVORITE dessert especially for summertime is a Keylime pie. Thankfully I found this
recipe ! Only 4 points too!!
What other recipes are your go to on Weight Watchers? I would love to hear !
