Journaling

I don't know about ya'll but I read any and all parenting advice I can get my hands on. Some days I know I am screwing these kids up and in about 20 years they will be laying on a couch and telling their therapist just how mommy dearest ruined their life. Ok ok. Maybe not that dramatic... I hope ! 😬 I mean, I am doing the best I can in these Unknown waters! Add to the fact for my kids being so young, 3 and 8, they sure do know it all! I wish I was as smart as them half the time! To me being a mom has to be one of the most difficult jobs out there! Going to work is a picnic some days . But I wouldn't trade being their mother for anything.

For all the hard things, I really am blessed with 2 healthy and happy (most of the time.... Seriously no one is perfect lol) kiddos.

But back to the point of this post , I found this idea the other day on Facebook here. I absolutely, with out a doubt , LOVE this idea to journal with your child. This is a great way to keep the line of communication open , write a word of encouragement , or to put your memory of the day to paper! This is something Meredith can look back on and keep with her forever . While out running errands I found this adorable journal at Joann's Fabrics for $2 in the clearance section. It was a sign to get this started!!  I shared this idea on Facebook as well. A friend does this with he daughters and they all love it!
