Does anyone else struggle with wanting a nice quiet weekend and not being bored? I am constantly thinking how it would be nice to sit at home and just relax. Then an hour later I am so bored I just need to go do something! This is my inner dilemma any time I am off or on the weekends! But somehow this weekend was a nice balance of the two!
Friday evening the kids wanted their favorite ... Skyline! Fine with this momma! I don't feel like cooking by the end of the week . We decided to eat on the patio! It was a beautiful evening and didn't have to clean up the kitchen afterward! That my friends is a win/win!!
Sat morning Nick headed to the firehouse for a 24 hr shift! I hit snooze one too many times so I didn't get a chance to go for a walk/run (started the couch to 5k last week). Instead I did my Zumba video in the kitchen! Did a few chores and got the house back to the way I like. Then the kids and I headed out for donuts, the car wash, and lunch at Mcalisters.
After lunch we headed home where I hoped we could all nap ( I needed it for my evening shift I was working ). but instead I got talked into going to the pool. Only there 45 minutes before it started thundering. We made it back home before it down poured ! So we ended up keeping it low key the rest of the evening before I headed to work!
Sunday we headed to Augusta for a Lula Roe pop up shop hosted by my friends Amy and Leann. Stephanie , another fire wife, sells this super cute line of comfy, affordable , one of a kind clothes. I am obsessed!! The leggings literally feel like butter! She brings the clothes to your house so you and your fiends can shop, gossip , eat and drink! Steph has a Facebook page and she also has an occasional online sell! You can check her out
here. You can thank me later! 😍 here are some pics of a few lula roe pieces I got a few months back! I got a super cute skirt and top that I am already planning on wearing next weekend!
Black leggings and top

For once I am not sad to see the weekend end! But I have a good reason ! I only work 2 days and then off for 5! We are going to spend some time in Augusta and we are all excited and looking forward to it!
Have a great week ya'll
Xoxo, Tracey
